The membership has been having discussion at the past few meetings regarding the annual dues. We would like to thank everyone who has provided their input into this proposal.
As a result of the initial survey and discussion at the past couple of meetings, many supported the idea of making the annual dues ‘all-inclusive’ to include meals for regular meetings. However, there were many who had concerns regarding this initial proposal.
The Executive Committee, prior to presenting this as a formal motion, would like to know if the membership would support giving members the option between two memberships:
(1) ‘ALL-INCLUSIVE’: If a member is registered with NEOFCA as ‘all-inclusive’ membership of $100.00 per year PLUS an additional amount yet to be determined, that member’s meals would be covered for that membership year. There would be no refunds for meetings not attended.
IF YOU SUPPORT AN ‘ALL-INCLUSIVE’ MEMBERSHIP, WHAT ADDITIONAL DOLLAR AMOUNT WOULD YOU SUPPORT? THERE ARE 10 REGULAR MEETINGS IN A CALENDAR YEAR AS WE DO NOT MEET IN JULY DUE TO THE OFCA CONFERENCE OR IN JULY DUE TO FAMILY COMMITTMENTS.
(2) ‘TRADITIONAL’: If a member is registered with NEOFCA as a ‘traditional’ membership of $100.00 per year, that member would pay for their meals at each meeting.
